Claire Bergerault

Accordion, voice

Singer, accordionist and conductor, Claire Bergerault takes part in numerous projects in the fields of improvised, experimental and contemporary music. She is part of the UN ensemble, founded by David Chiesa. During her various projects, she notably met Pascale Criton, François Rossé and Simon Steen-Andersen. She produces performances combining the visual arts (Alexandre Burton, Christophe Macé, Patrick Dekeyser), dance (Alea Citta company) or sound poetry (Édith Azam). Claire Bergerault founded in 2010 Le Lobe, an orchestra made up of 22 improvising musicians, and in 2011 the company Hors Laps. In 2016, she was an actress-singer for the theater in Œdipe à Colone directed by Jean-Christophe Blondel. His discography includes more than ten records released under the Orkesme, Nocturne and Cathnor labels.
