During the 2018-2019 season, Hubbub was 20 years old. Hubbub is one of the only European improv quintets to perform for so long in the same group. Located at the crossroads of several worlds, Hubbub is made up of five musicians whose activities trace multiple ramifications. Together, they work with sound material to create a moving space, populated by strata, stretches, entanglements, welts, pulsations, dots and lines, on the border between acoustics and electricity. The longevity of the group has enabled Hubbub to develop a universe that is more than the sum of its parts.

Hubbub is preparing a tour in Australia and New Zealand for February 2025.

The CD, recorded at Saint-Merry church in August 2019, "abb abb abb" will soon be released on the Relative Pitch Records label.
